Supply Chain Management (SCM) is working to streamline workflows and improve efficiency in BearBuy for the payment of facility rentals, meeting and entertainment (M&E) payment requests, and America To Go transactions. These changes aim to simplify processes, reduce paperwork, while ensuring compliance with University of California (UC) policies. 

While these changes are not yet available, we wanted to provide a preview of what is coming. 

What’s Changing? 

• Streamlined Approvals: Meeting & Entertainment and exceptional approvals will now happen directly in BearBuy, reducing redundancy and paperwork.
• Improved Forms: New fields will capture details directly in the BearBuy form, such as attendee lists and per-person meal costs.
• Most BearBuy Meeting & Entertainment transactions will no longer require the Supplemental Form.

A separate announcement will be sent out before the enhancements go live in BearBuy. SCM will also provide training resources, including short videos and guides to help you navigate the changes.
