Ebola Travel Restriction – Central & East Africa
Effective immediately, all non-essential travel to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan is prohibited for UCSF faculty, staff and learners until further notice.

UCSF is closely monitoring the evolving Ebola outbreak affecting parts of Central and East Africa. Community members currently in affected regions should avoid clinical care activities, monitor CDC and WHO advisories, register travel through UC Away, and contact Occupational Health Services—Communicable Disease Response Team for post-travel screening guidance at [email protected].
All UCSF travelers are reminded that travel registration through UC Away is required. Additional support is available through Risk Advisory and Insurance Services and the International Students and Scholars Office.
