About Supply Chain Management

Welcome to Supply Chain Management

Jim Hine, Chief Procurement Office

Supply Chain Management is in the business of helping UCSF faculty, staff and students acquire the goods and services they need to shape the future of health. Getting the most for your money, streamlining and improving the procurement process and delivering superior customer service are our priority. We're problem solvers. We're innovators. We're here to help.

What We Do

Supply Chain Management (SCM) facilitates the purchase of the highest-quality goods and services at the least total cost. This is achieved by developing strategic partnerships, pursuing initiatives that leverage the power of our collective spend and investing in talented staff and state-of-the-art technology, as well as ensuring compliance with all University of California policies and state and federal regulations
