Supplier Diversity Business Certification Training Recap

Supplier Diversity Business Certification Training Recap

On August 1, the UCSF Anchors Away Team, in collaboration with campus Supply Chain Management and San Francisco’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC), hosted a webinar on business diversity certification.

Supply Chain Management's Marliz Copado led the team to discuss UCSF’s goal to achieve 25 percent diverse spend with campus addressable procurement and the advantages of supplier diversity certifications. She was followed by SBDC’s Kofo Domingo and Jessica Wan who gave a presentation about diversity certification and provided information about their services to help small businesses. Suppliers were also given the opportunity to sign up for a one-on-one session with a consultant. Suppliers who signed up for a session and complete diversity certification by the end of the year will be entered for a chance to be featured on a future SCM News2Use.

You can watch the full event recording below.
