This past August, the UCSF Anchors Away Team, in collaboration with campus Supply Chain Management and San Francisco’s Small Business Development Center (SFSBDC), hosted a webinar on business diversity certification. During the session, suppliers were given the opportunity to sign up for a one-on-one consultation session with SFSBDC.

Through one of those consultations, CG Moving Company recently received a certification. The owner of the company, Carlos A. Gonzalez, and the contract manager of the team, Griselda Gonzalez, worked directly with Jessica Wan from SFSBDC.

“SFSBDC unpacked some details with the client. The business submitted the Minority Business Certification application after our training and just got the certificate,” says Wan.
