Project Management

Project Managers are an integral member of the team at One Workplace. They are the main point of contact for the customer for all project communications during the project process. They interface with all departments within One Workplace, client contacts, manufacturers, vendors and other professionals to accomplish successful completion of projects.

  • Project Planning, Coordination, and Management
  • Establish overall schedule and manage dealer/manufacturer teams
  • Develop work plan, schedules, logistics, and organize deliveries based on overall project parameters
  • Review project sites, plans, and product orders with the design team
  • Track all project related orders
  • Provide technical consultation to customers and their teams/vendors
  • Serve as a single point of contact and coordinate with client and all third-party firms

Project Administration


  • Maintain detailed project documentation of key project decisions and customer/ project requests/revisions
  • Provide timely and formal written communication throughout projects and disseminates all critical information
  • Managing accurate and detailed project files

Project Implementation and Order Management


  • Review plans and specs for accuracy, completeness, and correct product application prior to order placement
  • Synthesize with sales coordination for order entry notes and delivery schedule
  • Review ship dates for adherence to original requirements
  • Interface with manufacturing and shipping representatives regarding schedules and special instructions
  • Plan and supervise product delivery and install
  • Attend project, construction, and/or design meetings, as required

Project Punch List, Invoicing and Close-Out 


  • Punch List walk-throughs and develop open issues/punch list
  • Resolve open issues/punch list with the OI team
  • Complete project close-out documentation and submit to UCSF Project Manager

Project Management services provided to UCSF at no cost:
Members of the One Workplace team are available for initial consultative conversations regarding Project Management scope and services. Team members can provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) budgets for this service. 

Pricing terms for additional Project Management services available at a cost:
All time for OWP Project Management professionals is billable. Billable time begins as soon as project work commences, immediately after budgetary conversations are complete. These services can be proposed on a project basis or billed actual, depending on project scope. Billable Project Management services include travel from OWP locations to and from meetings, project meetings, calls, project research and documentation time. Costs for this service are only incurred as outlined in an approved quotation, proposal or other official agreement between UCSF and Workplace. UCSF staff will be made aware that time, product or services are billable prior to commencement of work.
