What we do

The SCM Response Team – five of our own subject-matter experts – are now responding to all tickets submitted to the help desk. In addition, two new intake forms have been created to make your search for support easier.

Q: How does the SCM Response Team differ from the previous support?

A: The Response Team is comprised of subject-matter experts selected for their knowledge and expertise in SCM-related functions. Their expertise allows them to answer more of your questions without escalating them further.

Q: Can I use the external support form?

A: The external form is meant for suppliers and external customers and does not contain the options that the internal form offers. UCSF faculty, staff and students should only use the internal form.

Q: Can I email the SCM Response Team individually?

A: No. Please do not contact the SCM Response Team directly or cc them in your responses to ServiceNow tickets.  Our new forms make sure your question gets to the right subject-matter expert in a timely manner. Our team cannot respond to any inquiries sent to directly to them.
