The Greenphire Program hit a financial milestone during the beta phase, and enhancements to the funding model to simplify processes and increase flexibility are on the horizon
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is proud to share the success of the Suvoda Greenphire Patient Payments (Greenphire Program) program. During the beta phase, the program has funded over $1 million, enrolled more than 100 studies, and facilitated payments to thousands of study participants using Greenphire’s reloadable Visa debit cards. The Greenphire Program has significantly streamlined participant payments and enhanced operational efficiency.
Upcoming Program Funding Changes
Exciting enhancements to the Greenphire Program funding model are on the horizon, designed to simplify processes and increase flexibility. Effective January 2, 2026, the BearBuy Payment Request Form can no longer be used to pre-fund studies. Instead, research participant payments will be charged to the funding provided based on actual payment activity. The new funding approach will eliminate the need for upfront funding and streamline financial management. Importantly, these changes will not impact day-to-day program payment administration or cardholder operations.
