Turkish Airlines has advised that its distribution agreement with Sabre expired on August 31, 2024. As a result, all content for Turkish Airlines will be removed from BCD. Here’s what you need to know about the impact of this action: 

Existing bookings 

Changes, or cancellations to existing bookings through Sabre hosted travel agencies will not be possible effective September 1. These changes or cancellations will need to be made via the Turkish Airlines agencies support service. 

The Sabre hosted agencies will continue to assist travelers in pursuing refunds for unused ticket credits in line with Turkish Airlines’ refund policy. Any unused ticket credits that are not refunded will need to be exchanged directly with Turkish Airlines.

New bookings 

UC Travel Center is not impacted by this instance as they use another reservation system other than Sabre. If travelers intend to consider Turkish Airlines for future reservations, please consider contacting UCTC to make reservations and take advantage of UC’s (systemwide) Turkish Airlines discount.
