Introducing MyMarketplace: A New Shopping Experience in BearBuy
MyMarketplace will serve as a single-entry point for all catalog and contracted purchases, simplifying how campus users shop.
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is preparing to launch MyMarketplace powered by Labviva, a simpler, more efficient way campus users to shop for catalog items within BearBuy. MyMarketplace will serve as a single-entry point for contracted goods and services. With a uniform interface and the ability to search across suppliers, MyMarketplace will provide greater clarity for pricing and options.
Slated for a release this coming summer, MyMarketplace is a key step in preparing for the upcoming Project One Phase 2 Oracle Cloud implementation. By introducing a more streamlined shopping experience now, SCM aims to ease campus procurement user experience during the transition to Oracle Cloud in 2027.
What’s Changing?
- Access MyMarketplace from UCSF's existing BearBuy
- Within MyMarketplace, search and shop across suppliers and categories
- Gain improved visibility into pricing and product options
What is NOT Changing?
- Users will continue to access BearBuy in the same way
- Requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, and invoicing will remain unchanged
- Supplier relationships, pricing, and contracts will be unaffected
Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
