As wildfires continue to impact the Los Angeles area, the University of California (UC) has partnered with hotel chains to provide discounted accommodations for UC employees and students who may be displaced. These efforts aim to secure affordable lodging amidst high demand in the region.

Discounted Rates from Hotel Partners

1. Marriott Properties
   • UC Discount: Use the UC0 code in the "Corp/Promo Code" field under the "Special Rate" option on Marriott's website.
   • Evacuation Rate: Select "Lowest Regular Rate." If an evacuation discount is available, it will display for the selected property.
2. Wyndham Properties
   • UC employees and students can receive an 18 percent discount on all Wyndham brand properties.
   • Access the discount by visiting Wyndham’s website via the UC-specific link, which includes the discount code.

Specially Negotiated Rates

UC’s Wyndham account manager secured additional discounted rates at specific properties in Los Angeles and nearby areas. To access the rate, the guest will need to contact the hotel directly and advise they are a UC employee/student requesting the lower displaced rate. 

Note: Haas Hotel offers apartment-style accommodations, making it a practical option for extended stays.

Guests must contact the hotel directly to secure the displaced rate. Mention that you are a UC employee or student when booking.
