Before submitting a supplier registration request, search for the supplier in BearBuy first. This helps identify whether: 

• The supplier already exists and is ready to use
• The supplier exists but requires a profile update
• The supplier is already managed through Graphite Connect (look for the Graphite "G" icon)
• A new supplier request is needed

If the supplier is not found in BearBuy, confirm the supplier's name was entered correctly before submitting a new supplier request.

Once you've searched BearBuy, review the Quick Decision Guide to determine which process applies: 

• Graphite Connect for new PO-based suppliers that provide goods and/or services
• Graphite Connect for updates to PO-based suppliers already managed in Graphite
• Supplier Forms for payment-only (non-PO) payees and updates to legacy suppliers not managed in Graphite Connect
