UCSF Greenphire ClinCard Program Update
UCSF’s Greenphire ClinCard Beta Program continues to grow, enhancing efficiency and support for research teams and participants. As of February 3, 2025, the program has:
- 50 studies active with 125 UCSF employees using the ClinCard portal
- Processed 1,435 payments to 908 unique participants
- Distributed 2,417 physical ClinCards and 690 virtual cards
A recent customer satisfaction survey highlighted a few key takeaways: the ClinCard system is a valuable and reliable payment method and Supply Chain Management administrative support meets user needs.
Recent successes include transition of legacy studies (reducing licensing costs), improved budget controls, and streamlined change order requests. Looking ahead, UCSF will focus on process enhancements, updating training materials, and transitioning the program out of Beta with improved financial reconciliation.
