UCSF-Issued Credit Cards and PaymentPlus Program Wins Accolades
Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams recognized for their exceptional efforts with the 2024 University of California Best-in-Class awards.
Two Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams, Card Programs and Disbursements, have been recognized for their exceptional efforts with the 2024 University of California Best-in-Class awards. According to U.S. Bank, our card programs have grown 36 percent year-over-year, with transactions increasing by nearly $35 million.
The use of UCSF-issued credit cards has been on the rise, with departments using them for travel and various purchases. This program requires oversight and administration to ensure that convenience is balanced against risk. Our SCM Card Programs team has excelled in onboarding and supporting cardholders.
The supplier payment program through U.S. Bank, PaymentPlus, continues to be a substantial success for UCSF. Enrollment in PaymentPlus allows suppliers to be paid with virtual credit cards, offering both convenience and speed. The Disbursements Team has done an outstanding job recruiting suppliers, resulting in the program growing 40 percent year-over-year and increasing transactions by $33 million.
Congratulations to Stephanie Shang, Jackie Galloway, Carlos Zepeda, and Marcus Campbell on their excellent work! Additionally, special thanks extended to Roscelle Arceo and Ruvic de la Rosa on the Supplier Registration team for their contributions.
