Overview

America To Go (ATG) is an online platform that facilitates ordering catering for on-campus meetings and events. The ATG punch-out catalog in BearBuy hosts menus from over 100+ contracted caterers and restaurants. You’ll start your order in the ATG punch-out, and then complete checkout in BearBuy.

Getting Started

Important: Enter the delivery address in the Ship To Address section on your BearBuy requisition (not in the delivery instructions in the ATG punch-out). Attach the guest list or enter the guest names and titles in the Comments tab of the requisition. 

Accessing the ATG Punch-out in BearBuy

Log into your UCSF MyAccess account. Then, click the BearBuy link to open the application. On the BearBuy homepage, scroll down to the Meeting and Entertainment section, and click on the America To Go logo. The ATG punch-out will open in a new browser tab.

Start an Order

In the ATG punch-out, select Create an Order from the left side panel to start your order. Click Support to view detailed instructional guides (available here). After adding menu items to your order, Proceed to Checkout in the punch-out. Then, complete the checkout steps and click Place Order to transfer the order to your BearBuy shopping cart.

Once you’ve transferred the order to your BearBuy shopping cart, click the Proceed to Checkout button in the upper right corner of your BearBuy screen. 

  1. Enter the delivery address in the Ship To Address section of the requisition Summary. 
  2. Enter your funding in the Accounting Codes section of the requisition Summary. 
  3. Next, enter or attach the guest list on the Comments tab. 
  4. Finally, assign the cart to your department’s Requester to submit the order for you. 

Note: Select MODIFY ITEMS to return to the ATG punch-out to edit the order, if necessary.

What happens next?

The Requester will complete checkout and submit the order. The requisition will automatically route to your department’s Meeting & Entertainment Approver. Once the order is approved, the order will be sent to ATG and the caterer. You will receive a confirmation email once the vendor agrees to fulfill your order. After the event, ATG will submit the invoice to BearBuy referencing your Purchase Order (PO).
