BearBuy supplier catalogs are gradually transitioning to MyMarketplace. Standalone supplier catalogs will be retired in phases, giving shoppers a single place to search across suppliers and product categories instead of navigating multiple individual catalogs. This change will simplify the shopping experience and help prepare UCSF for the transition to Oracle Cloud as part of Project One Phase 2.
What You Need to Know
- No downtime is expected. The transition will occur in phases without planned service interruptions.
- Supplier catalogs will remain available throughout the transition. Until a supplier's scheduled transition date, shoppers can continue to access the standalone catalog in BearBuy.
- After a supplier transitions, access the catalog through MyMarketplace. The standalone catalog tile will be removed from BearBuy and shoppers will access the catalog through the MyMarketplace shopping tile.
- The BearBuy requisition process remains the same. Products selected through MyMarketplace are returned to BearBuy, where shoppers continue the existing requisition process.
