About MyMarketplace
MyMarketplace powered by Labviva is UCSF’s new marketplace experience within BearBuy.
MyMarketplace will serve as the primary entry point for catalog and contracted purchases, allowing users to search across suppliers and categories from a single location rather than navigating multiple catalogs.
This enhancement is designed to simplify the shopping experience while preparing UCSF for the upcoming Oracle Cloud transition as part of Project One Phase 2.
What is Changing?
- Users will begin shopping through MyMarketplace for catalog and contracted purchases.
- Supplier catalogs will gradually transition into MyMarketplace.
- Legacy punchout catalogs will be retired in phases.
- By January 2027 (target), MyMarketplace will become the primary catalog purchasing experience.
What is Staying the Same?
- BearBuy remains UCSF's purchasing system.
- Requisition and approval processes remain unchanged.
- Procurement policies remain unchanged.
- Supplier contracts and pricing remain unchanged.
- Non-catalog purchasing processes remain unchanged.
