Expanding Supplier Diversity and Inclusion Program Outreach

UCSF, Supply Chain Management, and our Anchor Institution Initiative procurement team have been exploring strategies to deliver purposeful value to our internal and external customers. Our strategic initiative to increase procurements from small, local, and diverse businesses in addressable purchasing categories continues to evolve.

This month, we are exploring the community development facet of the program by strengthening our partnership with the City and County of San Francisco Contract Monitoring Division. On Wednesday, October 20, we hosted Working with UCSF: Tips for Success. Through this webinar we hope to expand outreach, deepen relationships, and help build capacity for a range of local contractors, design professionals, consultants, architects, engineers, and professional services firms who are interested in working with UCSF. We will provide tips for success with the help of the small, local, and diverse businesses who have worked with UCSF in a panel discussion to talk about their proposals that made it to the selection stage of bid RFQ, PJ3875 - PRE-DESIGN PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES.

As we work toward aligning goals across the UCSF enterprise to deliver results, we value our collaborative efforts with Real Estate Campus Planning on this exciting journey. For more information about the event, please click on the flyer.
