Supply Chain Management (SCM) is continuing to work on the BearBuy invoicing and payment process project and we wanted to share updates.  

The project task force has determined four themes as our areas of focus from our recent survey results: 

• Training and Communication (departments, suppliers, SCM staff) 
• Transparency (invoice submissions, payment status) 
• The Process (Transcepta, procure to pay) 
• Roles and Responsibilities (clarity of customer, supplier, SCM roles) 

Using A3 methodology, teams of two project task force members each, will examine and more clearly define each of the four themes and brainstorm solutions. This process will include additional conversations with our own subject-matters experts and customers, as well as further data collection. Once the A3 work is complete, the task force will meet to review the proposed solutions, decide which solutions to implement and plan our next steps including timeline.
