Supplier Search Access Upgraded: Finding Small Businesses

On December 13, 2021 the University of California (UC) upgraded access to the supplier search platform, Explorer Professional, to Single Sign-On (SSO) access. Individual credentials are no longer needed, streamlining access to the database. This upgrade is part of the UCSF Anchor institution Initiative’s focus on improving access to our Supplier Diversity and Inclusion Program.

The Explorer Professional tool allows you to: 

  • Locate and identify certified small and diverse businesses.  
  • Find information on diversity status, certifications, products and service offerings, contacts and more.  
  • Customize searches, export options, and sorting capabilities 
  • Generate business project needs lists 
  • Identify businesses by industry and keywords 

The UC Procurement website includes a login link with additional resources and other supplier search options as well. See the links below for access, resources and a video on using the platform.
