SCM Preparing for New MyExpense User Interface

The new MyExpense UI is great. One of the new features that I appreciate is that the new UI allows me to select if the lodging is the same or different each night. I am now able to input a different rates for each night versus correcting the rates for the nights that are different.

MyExpense will be updated to Concur’s Next Generation Expense User Interface (NextGen UI) with a tentative go-live date of September 2022.* Supply Chain Management (SCM) is preparing for the change with continued user testing and additional training materials and opportunities.

Highlights of the improved interface include:

  • Upgraded expense reporting experience; more intuitive, integrated and efficient
  • Quicker expense reporting with efficient receipt handling
  • Better visibility to expense details and the corresponding receipt all on one page
  • Improved visibility for itemizations and ability to itemize room rates by night

In April 2022 survey of users in a pilot population came back with overall positive results, with one participant saying the layout of the expense itemization was easier to read. Here are a few of the results:

  • 61.5 percent said it was easy or very easy to use
  • 38 percent felt it was about the same to use
  • No respondents reported it being difficult or very difficult

We will continue to share information and training about NextGen UI when available.
