BearBuy Invoicing Survey Results

As many of you know, last month Supply Chain Management (SCM) asked you to participate in our survey on BearBuy invoicing and payment process. Thank you to the 175 folks who submitted surveys and took the time to write additional comments. We want to update you on some of the results and look ahead to how we plan to improve your customer experience.

The survey produced a few themes that help identify where we need to improve as well as what we’re doing well. Topics most often mentioned included:

  • Transcepta
  • Confusion/lack of visibility of processes
  • Lack of information/training
  • Campus roles & responsibilities

Next Steps

SCM has formed a committee from each unit within the department involved in the BearBuy invoicing process – Financial Operations (Accounts Payable and Business Systems), Strategic Procurement, Finance and Administration (including Communications and Customer Experience). What we’re doing:

  • Members of the team are meeting with the 13 people who requested a meeting.
  • The committee is reviewing the more than 300 comments and looking for ways to address issues.
  • SCM staff has met with more than 20 departments to gather more feedback and continues with those meetings.

SCM will continue to update our campus partners as we make strides in improving your customer experience.
