Dell Replacing SHI for Some Software Orders

University of California Procurement Services has a new contract with Dell to replace SHI as systemwide value-added reseller (VAR) for Microsoft, Adobe, Netskope and Microfocus software. The change will take effect on February 1, 2023.

Pilot Program Matches UCSF Departments with Diverse, Small Suppliers

In a recent pilot program, the UCSF Anchor Institution Mission (AIM) procurement team partnered with the UCSF Office of Sustainability (OS) to secure water bottles from a woman-owned San Francisco business. Design Like Whoa, which provides sustainable, branded apparel and accessories, created 500 bottles used in a campaign to promote newly installed water-bottle fillers in UCSF buildings.
